(Gal. 6:10)Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!I am both pleased and proud to announce that we will be holding our next BiennialAssembly and Philoptochos Conference in the beautiful city of Raleigh, North Carolinafrom Wednesday June 21-Saturday, June 24, 2017.The theme of this year’s Metropolis Assembly is “Go Therefore and Make Disciples of AllNations ” This Assembly is unique in that it will be the first time the SoutheasternFederation of Greek Orthodox Choirs and Musicians will be joining us.This unique gathering of clergy, Philoptochos delegates, and now musicians will allow foran even more complete picture of the varied parts of parish life in our Metropolis. I trulybelieve that the gathering together of all these various talents and treasures will furtherassist us in bearing witness to the life-changing Gospel of Christ to our friends andneighbors throughout the world, as our Lord commands us.I encourage all of you to begin planning to send representatives from each and everyParish community to our Clergy-Laity Assembly.
