Elaborated Unit FocusThis unit will focus on the geographical, political, socialcolonization. Students will understand that production,distribution, and consumption of goods and serviceswere an essential part of the economic motivationbehind European movement and migration that ledto colonial development. Students will learn that throughconflict and change various groups and individualshad unintended results on the Native American culturewhile at the same time building a new culture of theirown.
