D-3 STUDY GUIDEHORSE MANAGEMENT EXPECTATIONSThe candidate should be able to demonstrate simple skills without assistance, and to discuss care ofthe mount, using common horse terms.TURNOUT/TACK Refer to Standards of Proficiency for detail on attire for certifications.Mount to be well brushed (no sweat), clean (no dirt), with feet picked out,showing farrier care.
