The ServerView PRO Pack for MicrosoftSystem Center adds Performance and Resource Optimization (PRO)to the monitoring functions.The ServerView PRO Pack is specifically geared to the performanceand resource optimization of Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers. It analyzesevents of the ServerView Agents and the ServerView RAID Managerin order to initiate recovery and optimization measures of theSCVMM. If, for example, an event indicates that the availability of aspecific server is impaired, it may be beneficial to migrate the virtualmachines of the relevant server onto an error-free server. Thisimproves the availability of the virtual machines, thus optimizingtheir operation.The ServerView PRO Pack includes monitors for monitoring theservers. If a monitor detects a situation where it seems advisable tointervene in the management of virtual machines, a so-called PROTip is generated, proposing a specific action to optimize the runningof virtual machines. Microsoft SCCM 2012 thus determines therequirements for installing the integration package. The siteserver (also known as the “configuration management server”)on which the integration package is to be installed must beconfigured as a management point. Windows 2008 must beinstalled on this server.
