CERAMIC SANITARYWARE - IMPORTANT INFORMATIONTolerancesMeasures, weights and colours are subject to the usual ceramic tolerances.Especially by the crude installation observe the deviations of measures due tofabrication against the indicated measures in the catalogue.Ceramic Porcelainis a material with dense sintered white body coated with a white or colouredglaze.Ceramic Sanitarywareis unharmed by the thermal stresses of hot and cold water.The glazes arescratchproof, unaffected by light, and resistant to ageing. They resist theacids, alkalis and solvents contained in most cleansers, normally used in thehousehold.Hydrofluoric acid and its compounds do not belong to it.The manufacturer reserves the right of alterations in construction and details.ColoursLighting has a substantial influence for judging the colour identity. We’d like toask you to consider that even with the same lighting and same distance fromthe source of light,only by the diversity of the model and by the shadow, thesubjective impression of different colour nuances may occur. This effect willeven increase when different materials meet.Instructions for careThe glaze of the ceramic fixtures resists the acids, solvents and alkaliscontained in most toiletries, cleansers and cosmetics.Please removeresidues for such agents and refer to the instructions of the manufacturer ofthese products. For nonceramic parts, i. e. WC seat, metal, etc. use nonabrasive cleaners.Built-in basinsIn general fixings are not supplied with washbasins as we have no controlover the surface to which they are fixed.Consideration should be given to theshape, size and weight of the basin, together with the material makeup of thewall, to ensure that the correct proprietary fixings are used and the basin issecurely and safely installed.If sanitary fixtures with a ceramic trap (WC’s, urinals, etc.) are exposed tofrost, a suitable antifreezing preventative must be added to the water in thetrap.LCC recommendations for cleaningOnly use mild cleansing agents (e.g. all purpose cleaners) to clean thesurface, since most of the dirt and hard water deposits will drip off with thewater.
