Briane Faletto, GCSClass A SuperintendentSpring is in the air. With some of the warmer temperatures we’ve had, thegrass will be greening up soon, azaleas blooming, and the trees with flowerslike the Dogwoods will be sprouting flowers. I am ready for the winter to beover.I really must a pologize for being on the mats all winter long on the drivingrange tee. We put down our ryegrass seed like we do every year, it did notgerminate for a couple of reasons, so we had dormant Bermuda grass all winter long. The TifSport is starting to green up and we have fertilized the tee sowe should be back on the grass very soon. Once again I a pologize for this. The greens are coming out of the winter in good sha pe. We do have someweak spots here and there but with some topdressing and fertilizer, they’ll begood to go. We will start our yearly maintenance program to ensure the bestplaying surface possible for everyone. We are still planning on getting some winter projects done this month, soplease be patient with us if we are out there working in your way. Please remember to follow all cart path rulings! We have had a lot of damage this winterbecause of all the cart traffic. Also remember to fix those ball marks and divots!Thank you,Briane Faletto, GCSWe hope to see everyone on the course!!!Class A Superintendent8
