It isso beautiful tohear studentstalk about eitherwhat they will give up or whatthey will give time to for Lent. Our juniorhigh students, along with orchestra studentsare working on preparations for their LivingStations Program. It’s such a beautiful wayto pray during the season. All classes areworking for the Birthday Joy Program thisLent by donating books for a sale thatbenefits the underprivileged by hostingbirthday parties for children in foster care, orphanages and families that need support.Students will also pray for those in need anddiscuss and plan how they can make adifference in our community. I am so proudto be part of a community that works tomake a difference all year long, especiallyduring Lent. Our children are our future. Iam confident that we are working to instillnot only academic skills but we are also ableto include our faith, service and worktogether to educate the whole child: mind, heart and spirit.
