The Conference is 7-4-1 against other conferenceswith two of the losses coming against #13 STANFORD in the NorCal Classic and two coming against the SEC. The Pac-12 is 5-2-1against the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and 2-0 against theMountain Rim Conference. UCLA and OREGON STATE kicked offhead-to-head Pac-12 action Monday night as the Bruins beat theBeavers 196.000-195.450. This weekend will feature more nonconference action as several Pac-12 squads hit the road. UCLA tallied 43 points, receiving the remaining three first-placevotes, and was tabbed second. Additionally, the Bruins came in fifth in the national preseasoncoaches poll.Utah takes over the top spot in the preseason Pac-12 coaches poll from UCLA. The Bruinshad dominated the top spot for the last three years. This season, Utah will be looking to repeatas Pac-12 champions after winning the title for the first time in 2014.STANFORD sits in third place with 39 points in the poll,followed by OREGON STATE and CALIFORNIA tied atfourth with 28 points each.
