StatementAll non-Lockheed Martin employees requiring unescorted access toLockheed Martin owned, leased or operated facilities in the UnitedStates to conduct work must undergo a Background Investigation(BI).The results of that BI will be compared to our Lockheed MartinAccess Standards. Compliancy with the Access Standards willpredetermine if the contractor may be sent to a Lockheed Martinfacility.This presentation will define the Access Standards that must bemet for a Lockheed Martin facility.3

First AdvantageLockheed Martin has requested First Advantage (“FADV”) toprovide Background Investigations in its management andsecurity of its Suppliers/Vendors.Lockheed Martin will use FADV’ site to track registration andreview screening events for Contractors.4

Contractor Advantage ProgramThe Contractor Screen program is a proactive security initiative to identifyand reduce security risk and enhance the security standards and safety ofLM personnel and facilities.Any Contractor, a non-employee of LM, who requires physical access to aLM owned, leased or operated facilities in the United States to conductwork with no escort is required to partake in the program. This includes all“Resident Visitor(s)” and “Nonresident Visitor(s)”.Contractors are responsible for using Contractor Advantage to performsscreening on ALL of their employees who are within scope of theprogram.Using results from an independent third party Background Investigation(BI), Contractor Advantage confirms compliance with access standardsof physical site access for Contractors BEFORE they arrive at LMfacilities.Compliance with the Access Standards must be predetermined in order fora Contractor to qualify for unescorted physical access to any LM facility.5

ExceptionsThere are a limited number of Exceptions to the Contractor AdvantageProgram. US Government personnelVisitors with Security Clearance verified with JPAS or similar U.S.Government controlled clearance verification database.Visitors with Hazardous Material HAZMAT endorsement on their statedrivers licenseVisitors with Free and Secure Trade (FAST) program cardVisitors with Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)program cardVisitors with an employer provided written documentation BI approvedby LM Business AreaAny visitor officially approved by LM element SecurityForeign Nationals processed according to FN procedures9

Fee StructureThe Contractor Company will register, pay the registration fee, and theninput their employees and/or contractors they are sending to a LockheedMartin facility.If a Contractor Employee is on a short term assignment at the LockheedMartin facility and may not be back within the year, a Short Term packagemay be appropriate. If a Contractor Employee will be assigned to LockheedMartin facility for an extended period of time, the Long Term package willbe appropriate.10

Process OverviewStep 1 – Register to Use Contractor AdvantageStep 2 – Log In to Contractor AdvantageStep 3 – Add Persons to RosterStep 4 – Order Screens for EmployeesStep 5 – Review Employees’ Compliance Contractor as well as Lockheed Martin Personnel at entry pointswill be able to see the results of the BI in real time. No guessworkor delays due to potential denials at the gate. Contractor adheres to any additional Business Area policies orprocedures per facility.11

Step 1 - Register to Use Contractor Advantage Visit the Contractor Advantage website.https://ca.fadv.com/CA/welcome.do?lmc Click on the link to Register as Service Provider. Complete all Registration fields, remember ID and password. Bookmark the link for future access.12

Step 2 - Log In to Contractor Advantage Visit the Contractor Advantage website.https://ca.fadv.com/CA/welcome.do?lmc Enter ID and Password from Registration and Click LOG IN. Read and Accept the Legal Agreement (shown on first visit). Read and Accept the FCRA Agreement (shown on every visit).13

Step 3 - Add Persons to Roster Click the People tab and select AddNew Person. Enter information for the new person onthe Person Information screen. Makesure to complete all required fields(noted with an asterisk *). Make sure all information is correct andclick SAVE. The person is immediatelyadded to the roster.14

Step 4 - Order Screens for Employees Select a Person in the Roster to ViewPerson Status Detail. Click BEGIN ORDER PROCESS. Select the Package desired. Ensure asigned consent form is on file and checkthe box. If needed a consent form may beprinted. Enter Previous Address and ReportedPrevious Convictions if known. Provide Payment Detail Information. BI’s can take a few minutes to 3 days,dependent on the conviction andtechnology of the respective county’scourthouse.15

Step 5 - Review Employee Compliance After the Screens arecompleted, Contractorscan view the EmployeeRoster and quicklydetermine which onesmeet the ComplianceStandards for LockheedMartin facilities.Compliant meets standardsNon-Compliant does notmeet standards16
