TAMURKHAN’S HORDEOn the following pages, you will find all of the rules you need to use a Tamurkhan’s Horde army. All of the unitsfrom this compendium are from the Tamurkhan’s Horde faction.Tamurkhan’s Horde is a vastconglomeration of mortal anddaemonic warriors, servants all toNurgle, and bound to the will ofTamurkhan the Maggot Lord. Suchis Tamurkhan’s loyalty that the godof disease saw fit to plant a piece ofhis soul within the Realm of Chaos,allowing him to be regrown andresurrected after the destruction ofthe World-that-Was. This favouredchampion has repaid his patronby rampaging across the MortalRealms, delivering rot and ruin tothe unfaithful.In order to use a Tamurkhan’sHorde army, you will need aMaggotkin of Nurgle army and oneor more Tamurkhan’s Hordeunits from this compendium.In addition, you must have youropponent’s permission to use aTamurkhan’s Horde army. If theygive you permission, all units in yourarmy that do not already have theTamurkhan’s Horde keywordgain it, with the exception of Uniqueunits. If you are using a Tamurkhan’sHorde army, you must take theenhancements below for your armyCOMMAND TRAITA Tamurkhan’s Horde general must have thiscommand trait instead of one from the Maggotkin ofNurgle allegiance abilities:Unrelenting Conqueror: This warrior drives hisminions ever onward, so determined is he to spreadterror across all of the Mortal Realms.Add 1 to run rolls for friendly Tamurkhan’s Hordeunits while they are wholly within 14" of this general.and you can use the allegianceabilities in Battletome: Maggotkinof Nurgle.Designer’s Note: A Maggotkin ofNurgle army cannot include anyof the units in this compendiumwithout it becoming a Tamurkhan’sHorde army.ARTEFACT OF POWERThe first Tamurkhan’s Horde Hero to receive anartefact of power must be given the Daemon Flask:Daemon Flask: When the daemonic entity within thisflask is unleashed, its screams shatter stone and causethe ground to split asunder.Once per battle, at the start of your hero phase, youcan say that the bearer will shatter the Daemon Flask.If you do so, roll a dice for each enemy unit within 12"of the bearer. You can re-roll the dice if the enemy unitis a War Machine or is within 3" of a terrain feature.On a 4 , that enemy unit suffers 1 mortal wound. That enemy Hero suffers D3 mortalwounds. If that enemy Hero is not slain by thosemortal wounds, then this model is slain.
