RLB Book Collection: Genealogy, Mass/RI History and Early RecordsThis collection has 644 books in 41 boxes covering RI/Mass history, early records and genealogical topics. That countdoes not include the NEHGR collection.A complete set from Volume 1 (1847) through Volume 118 (1964) of the original “The New England Historical &Genealogical Register” originally by Rev. William Cogswell, D.D., editor, Samuel Drake, Publisher, Boston. Eachvolume is bound into a book 6” x 9 ½” x 1 ½” wide. This encompassed 121 books in 13 boxes (BX 4001 toBX 4013 inclusive). These boxes are 12x16x7H. Volumes I (1847) through Volume XII (1858). The first 8 volumes appear to have been owned by “S.Chandler” BX 4001, 12 booksVolumes 13 (1859) through Volume 23 (1869).
