The hornsounds and the turn signal lampsflash for 30 seconds, or until 7 ispressed again or the vehicle isstarted.D : Press twice to release thehatch/trunk. The vehicle must be inP (Park).E : Press twice to release thehood. The vehicle must be inP (Park).M : If equipped, press and releaseK, then immediately press and holdM continuously to open theconvertible top all the way. Thevehicle must be off to operate theconvertible top. Release the buttonto stop movement. Do not leave the remotekey in an unattended vehicle.If the vehicle is locked with a remotekey inside the vehicle, that remotekey will be disabled for starting thevehicle and other keyless accessoperations. To re-enable that remotekey, press any button on thatremote key. The remote key willalso be re-enabled when the vehicleis started with another knownremote key, or when the vehicle isunlocked.To customize whether the doorsautomatically lock when exiting thevehicle, see “Passive Door Lock”under Vehicle Personalization0 116.If equipped with remote foldingmirrors, passive locking may foldand unfold the mirrors. See FoldingMirrors 0 30.11Temporary Disable of PassiveLockingTemporarily disable passive lockingby pressing and holding K on theinterior door switch with a door openfor at least four seconds, or untilthree chimes are heard. Passivelocking will then remain disableduntil the vehicle is turned on.Remote Left in Vehicle AlertWhen the vehicle is turned off and aremote key is left in the vehicle, thehorn will chirp three times after bothdoors are closed.
