Monitor ArmAdjustment InstructionsOnce your Monitor Arms are installed and your monitors are attached, it’s time to adjust the tension, tilt, andswing of your Monitor Arms for maximum comfort. Here’s a step-by-step guide for each adjustment.Adjusting Your Monitor ArmsAdjusting Arm Tension(Dual-Monitor Arm, Single Monitor Arm, Monitor Arm Laptop Stand)If your monitor is too heavy (arm won’t stay up)or too light (arm won’t stay down), you need toadjust the spring arm tension to hold them atthe right height.Raise the spring arm as straight up aspossible so that you can access theopening at the top end of the arm.Insert the long M6 Allen Wrench thatcame with your Monitor Arm into theopening to adjust the tension bolt.If your monitors are popping up toohigh, you want to loosen the tension byturning the wrench counter-clockwisetoward the “-“ symbol. If your monitors are dropping down toolow, you want to tighten the tension byturning clockwise toward the “ ” symbol. You want the tension at the pointwhere it will hold your monitor at theheight you prefer, allowing for minoradjustments if needed. For patent and trademark information, visit Vari.com/patents 2020 Varidesk, LLC. Adjusting the Monitor Swing(All Models)To angle your monitors to the left or right, you’ll need to adjust the swing to allow you to put them into theposition you like best and keep them there.Find the small hex bolt on the monitormounting bracket.Using the small M3 Allen Wrench thatcame with your Monitor Arm, turn thewrench counter-clockwise to loosenthe swing tension. When the tension is loose enough toallow you to move the monitors, swingthem left or right to position them whereyou want them.Turn the Allen Wrench clockwise totighten the swing tension and keep themonitors in place.

Adjusting the Arm Swing(Dual-Monitor Arm 180 Degree)The arms of the Dual-Monitor Arm 180 Degree only adjust laterally using a tool included with your product.Find the small hex bolt on the swivelarm bracket.Use the small M3 Allen Wrench and turncounter-clockwise to loosen the swingtension in the arms.Move the arms backward or forward intothe preferred position.Use the Allen Wrench and turn in aclockwise direction to tighten thetension and keep the arms in place.Repeat the above steps with the otherarm if it also needs adjustments.

Adjusting the Tilt and Rotation(All Models)Tilting your monitor screen forward or back or rotating it to change the orientation may require an extra tool.Using the M3 Allen Wrench, turn the hexbolt shown here counter-clockwise. Besure to only loosen it enough to allowyou to manually reposition the monitor.Arrange the screen into the desiredposition by tilting or rotating it.To tilt, grasp both the top and bottomedge of your monitor and push forwardor backward. You may need to pushfirmly on the monitor to get it to tilt.To rotate, grasp the monitor on oppositesides and rotate the screen clockwise/counter-clockwise for the orientationyou prefer.Using the M3 Allen Wrench, turnclockwise to re-tighten the hex bolt fromStep 1 to keep your monitors in position.(Note: you will need to hold the backingbolt still as you tighten the hex bolt, so youmay need pliers or any tool that will helpyou grasp the backing bolt.)

Getting Your Monitors Even(Dual-Monitor Arm, Single Monitor Arm, Monitor Arm Laptop Stand)To get your monitors straight and even with each other, you’ll need to manually adjust the arms.Stand behind the desk and grasp thelower section of the lower arm and pullit back toward you. Then pull the lowersection of the upper arm back towardyou as well. Now you have room to swing the uppersections of the arms forward into aposition that brings the monitors closertogether.See the instructions above for furtheradjustment of the swing, tilt, or tension.

(Dual-Monitor Arm, Single Monitor Arm, Monitor Arm Laptop Stand) If your monitor is too heavy (arm won't stay up) or too light (arm won't stay down), you need to . adjust the spring arm tension to hold them at the right height. Insert the long M6 Allen Wrench that came with your Monitor Arm into the . opening to adjust the tension bolt.
