The front should be slightlyhigher than the rear to aid in door closing. Levelinglegs can be turned easily by tipping the cabinetslightly. HOW TO REMOVE THE FREEZER DRAWERWARNING:Use two or more people to remove andinstall the freezer drawer. Failure to do so can resultback or other injury.HOW TO INSTALL THE FREEZER DRAWERWith both hands, hotd the center bar and putt it outuntil both rails are fully extended.int CAUTION: Do not hold the handle when removing orreplacing the drawer. The handle may come off and itcould cause personal injury.NOTE:locatedclarity.In the followingfigures, the Pullout Drawerabove the freezerdrawer is not shown forPull the drawe open to futt extension. Remove thelower basket C) by lifting the basket from the railsystem.Grasp the drawer on each side and hook doorsupports C) into rail tabs C) located on both sides.Remove the screws C) of the rait on both sides.Lower the door into final position and tighten thescrews ( located on both sides.Grasp the drawer on each side and putt it up toseparate it from the rails.With the drawer pulled out to futl extension, insert thelower basket ( in the rail assembly.With both hands, hold the center bar and push it in toallow both rails to slide in simultaneously.,WARNING:If the Durabase divider is removed, there isenough open space for children or pets to crawl inside.To prevent accidental child and pet entrapment orsuffocation risk, DO NOT allow them to touch or gonear the freezer drawer.WARNING:drawer.15DO NOT step or sit down on freezer

LEVELING AND DOOR ALIGNMENT3. Open both doors again and check to make sure thatthey close easily. If the doors do not close easily, tiltthe refrigerator slightly more to the rear by turningboth leveling legs counterclockwise.It may takeseveral more turns, and you should turn both levelinglegs the same amount.LevelingAfter installing, plug the refrigerator'spower cord into a3-prong grounded outlet and push the refrigeratorinto thefinal position.Your refrigerator has two front leveling legs--one on theright and one on the left. Adjust the legs to alter the tiltfrom front-to-backor side-to-side. If your refrigeratorseems unsteady, or you want the doors to close moreeasily, adjust the refrigerator's tilt using the instructionsbelow 4. Replace the base grille.NOTE: Your refrigerator is uniquely designed withtwo fresh food doors. Either door can be opened orclosed independently of the other. You may have toexert slight pressure on the doors to get them to closecompletely.NOTE: Tools Required 11/16" (18mm) wrench or fiat bladescrewdriver.Door AllgnmentBoth the left and right refrigerator doors have anadjustable nut, located on the bottom hinge, to raise andlower them to align properly.1. Remove the base grille (refer to page 10).2. Turn the leveling leg counterclockwiseto raise that sideof the refrigerator or clockwise to lower it. It may takeseveral turns of the leveling leg to adjust the tilt of therefrigerator.If the space between your doors is uneven, follow theinstructions below to align the doors evenly Use the wrench (included with the Use & Care Guide)to turn the nut in the door hinge to adjust the height.Clockwise to raise or counterclockwiseto lower the height.NOTE: Having someone push backward against the top ofthe refrigerator takes some weight off: of the leveling legs.This makes it easier to adjust the legs.16

SETTING THE CONTROLSThe refrigerator control functions as the thermostat for theentire appliance (refrigerator and freezer sections). Thecolder the setting, the longer the compressor will run tokeep the temperature colder. The freezer control adjuststhe cold air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator.Setting the freezer control to a lower temperature keepsmore cold air in the freezer compartment to make itcolder.DispenserWhen you press the Waterbutton, the Water icon willilluminate.When you press the Ice Selectbutton, either the cube or crushedice icon will illuminate.AIRFLOWSome dripping may occurafter dispensing. Hold your cupbeneath the dispenser for a fewseconds after dispensing to catchall of the drops.Cold air circulates from the freezer to the fresh foodsection and back again through air vents in the walldividing the two sections. Be sure not to block vents whilepacking your refrigerator. Doing so will restrict airflowand may cause the refrigerator temperature to becometoo warm or cause interior moisture buildup. (See air flowdiagram below.), CAUTION: The control display is operated bytouch. Excessive moisture on the display may cause amalfunction.
