GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATIONAPPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS Stan State administersapproximately 150 scholarships toincoming and continuing students,undergraduate and graduatestudents. Eligibility for scholarships can bebased on a variety of criteria suchas academic merit, financial need,college major as well as communityService.The Stan State online scholarshipapplication can be accessed at:https://csustan.academicworks.comELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR STANSTATE SCHOLARSHIPS In addition to the online application,applicants may need to turn inadditional documentation asfollows: Applicant must be a fullymatriculated student and have adeclared major (except for enteringfreshmen). Full-time enrollment is required ofall scholarships except unlessotherwise noted in individualscholarship criteriao Minimum 12 units forundergraduates andteacher credentialstudentso Minimum 8 units classifiedgraduates in a graduateprogram Minimum GPA of 3.00 is requiredunless otherwise noted withinindividual scholarship criteria.APPLICATION PROCESS Stan State uses an electronicscholarship application to helpstudents search and apply forscholarships with one application. The Stan Sta online scholarshipsystem automatically filters thecorrect scholarships to studentswho meet the basic criteria of theindividual award. Students canthen review the information foreach scholarship and submit theirapplication for each scholarship.Detailed information on how to use theonline scholarship application can befound s/scholarship-informationCompleting the onlinescholarship application process:Letters of Recommendation Must be submitted if required bythe individual scholarship you areapplying for. Letters from teachers/facultymembers need to be from theschool you are currently attendingor last attended. Recommendation letters, ifrequired, must be requestedelectronically by submitting therecommenders name and emailaddress through the onlinescholarship application system.SATISFACTORY ACADEMICPROGRESS Scholarship recipients are requiredto maintain Satisfactory AcademicProgress (SAP) in their course ofstudy.
