Gonzaga Bookstore – Buying Your Books Online Gonzaga Online – Quick Start Guide Step 1: To access the Gonzaga Online Bookstore, go to www.gonzaga.edu. Go to the Quick Links drop down menu and choose “Bookstore” Step 2: This is the Bookstore. You can also access the Bookstore by going directly to http://www.bookstore.gonzaga.edu You may want to bookmark this URL on your computer for easy future reference. If this is your first time visiting the Bookstore, click on “MOL Online” in the menu on the left. Step 3: Review the information on this “MOL Online” page. As you will read, the Bookstore serves more than 5,000 on campus students and often has limitations or date limitations posted. These limitations/announcements often do not refer to YOU, our online students. The Gonzaga Bookstore is happy to ship books to Online MA-ORGL students (called “MOL” here) at any time of the year. You will find other key information on this page regarding textbook buyback, book shortages, and refund information. -1- Online Bookstore QuickStart Guide v.1 – Last Updated 8/10/05

Step 4: To buy your books, click on “Textboks” at the top of the page. Step 5: Scroll down and “Select a Campus Term”. It is crucial that you select the appropriate term. If you are ordering books for a course in August or October, select “Fall”. If you are ordering books for a course in January or March, select “Spring”. If you are ordering books for a course in May, June, or July, select “Summer”. Step 6: After you select the term, the departments will load. Select “ORGL – ORGL LEADERSHIP”. Once you choose the department, the courses will load. Choose the course you wish to buy books for. If you are a new student, your first course is 500. -2- Online Bookstore QuickStart Guide v.1 – Last Updated 8/10/05

Step 7: Now you will need to “Select A Section”. The most important criteria for this selection is the TERM in which you are taking the course. It is NOT important to know which instructor and/or number of the section you are enrolled in, because the same books are used for each section of the course. Again, make sure you select ANY course as long as it is in the correct term. Here is a key: A# A term online (e.g. any term starting in January, May, or August) B# B term online (e.g. any term starting in March, July, or October) 0# on campus course (do not choose this option if you are an online student) Once you select a Section, the book list will automatically populate below. Here you will be able to make selections to customize your order. -3- Online Bookstore QuickStart Guide v.1 – Last Updated 8/10/05

Step 8: With the drop-down menus at the bottom of the screen, you can customize your order based on your preference of New or Used books and whether you want to purchase the Required, Optional, or All of the books. By selecting your choices, you will see the screen populate accordingly. The default order is set to purchase all books in New condition. The “Reserve” option is for those students who would prefer to pick their books up from the Bookstore in person, rather than having them shipped and will not apply to most online students. When your order is complete, Click “add to basket”. Step 9: You will be brought back to the Textbook page. If you are enrolled in more than one course or are ordering books for another future course, scroll down and follow the same steps. If you are finished selecting your books, go to your Shopping Basket to complete your order. Step 10: Review your order. If you make any changes to your order, be sure to click on “Update Basket”. If you are satisfied with your order, click on “Checkout”. Please note the disclaimer below which is also found on the website: YOUR FINAL CHARGES COULD BE HIGHER OR LOWER THAN THE TOTAL SHOWN IN YOUR BASKET, WHEN THE ORDER WAS PLACED. IF YOU REQUESTED NEW OR USED BOOKS IN YOUR ONLINE ORDER, WE WILL TRY TO HONOR YOUR REQUEST BUT WILL SUBSTITUTE WITH WHAT EVER IS AVAILABLE WHEN THE ORDER IS PROCESSED AND CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD. -4- Online Bookstore QuickStart Guide v.1 – Last Updated 8/10/05
