Building an email marketing list Marketing lists can help improve your overall engagement and build relationships This document will help you: o Build a new email marketing list of customers so you can communicate personalized information relevant to them. o Learn how to view and update a list of customers who want to hear from you, who engage with your content, and who will possibly convert into long-term customers. 2

Create a new Marketing List Add customers you searched for to a new campaign Marketing List. You should carefully segment your list based on the type of customer you hope to reach. Once you divide your contacts into specific categories, you can tailor your communication to meet the customer's needs.

Find specific customers 1 Click Search and do an advanced search for the customers you want to add to a new list. 5

Start the process of adding members to a list 1 2 To remove duplicates from the list, click the check box(es). When results display, click Add to List. 3 Click Add. 6

Name and describe the new Marketing List 1 Type in a name for your new Marketing List. 2 Enter a brief description of the new Marketing List. 3 Click Add. 7

Submit the list 1 Check Import All Records. 2 “Import All Records” ensures that all customers from your search results are added to the Marketing List. You can email a maximum of 50,000 customers in a 24-hour period. The remainder will roll over to the day following campaign execution. Click Submit, then click OK in confirmation message. The list is now created. 8

Add more customers to an existing list Adding customers to an existing list is helpful if your dealership has a regular monthly or quarterly email communication. When new or additional customers meet the qualification for that campaign, you can add those customers to the list.

View & edit an existing marketing list Keeping your lists updated regularly is key to ensure they are as effective as possible. Rather than creating a new marketing list each time, you can edit an existing list.

Go to all Marketing Lists and find the list you want to edit 1 Click Campaigns. 3 Click Edit. 2 Click Marketing Lists. 14

Make changes to the list and save You can change the list name and description. 1 When you finish making the changes, click Save. If you want to keep track of the date and time this list was edited, check here. If you want to delete this Marketing List, click Delete. To remove members from a list, select the name(s), then click Remove Selected. To download this list of customers to a CSV file, click Download to Excel. 15
