www.drewtech.comClick “HDS Standard Diagnostic Software” and choose your desired subscription.3 Page
www.drewtech.comLog into your Honda account. If you do not have a Honda account, you will need tocreate one to purchase the subscription.4 Page
www.drewtech.comClick the “Buy Now” button. Follow all on screen instructions to complete your purchase.5 Page
www.drewtech.comFill out all information and click “continue checkout”, and agree to all terms and conditions.6 Page
www.drewtech.comFill out your payment information and click “Pay Now”.7 Page
www.drewtech.comFollow the instructions on the bottom of the confirmation page to download iHDS. Savethe installer file to your desktop for installation.8 Page
www.drewtech.comLocate the setup icon on the desktop once the download is complete and “double-click”it to start the installation. Follow all the on-screen instruction. Except all the defaultinstallation locations.Once the installation of the program is finished, you should see the iHDS manager iconin your computers system tray. Double click this icon to open the iHDS managerprogram.Follow the instructions to update and install all of the Honda software.9 Page
www.drewtech.comA new Honda Download Manager Progress window will open, allow this process to finish.This Process will take some time. Be patient. This window will show any new version,along with any installed versions.Once the download is complete the installation will begin automatically. Follow all the onscreen instructions to complete the program installation.10 P a g e
www.drewtech.comHonda Reprogramming (pg. 11-17)Once the installation is complete you should see the above icon on your desktop. Doubleclick the “iHDS” icon to open the software.When the Honda Launch Pad opens, select your Drew Technologies device, then clickstart.11 P a g e
www.drewtech.comWhen iHDS opens, select J2534 Rewrite.If you have a related TSB enter it here, otherwise click “Start”.12 P a g e
www.drewtech.comClick “Start” on the ECU Programming screen.Click “Next”. This is showing the Honda database you have installed on your PC.13 P a g e
www.drewtech.comFollow the instructions and click “Next”. The software will automatically connectto the vehicle and show any modules that have updates available.Select the system you wish to update then click “Select”.14 P a g e
www.drewtech.comThe next screen shows your current calibration and the updated calibration andmay also give a description of the update. Click “Enter” to begin the process.Follow the program instructions.15 P a g e
www.drewtech.comThe programming process can take 15 to 45 minutes.Once programming is complete follow the on-screen instructions through the nextscreens.16 P a g e
