Watchman is meant to be an easilyinstalled self-contained gate or door entry system.This document will provide the steps needed to install and test the Watchman unit on the customer site.The first part of the procedure requires logging into the web portal system and setting up some users tocreate codes and access permissions.Once the web portal configuration is complete, you are ready to go on-site. In thisexample we showmounting to a 48” (122cm) gooseneck pole.Pull power / gate controlinto the unit.It is recommended thetop of the unit be at aminimum of 50” (127cm) from the ground.For optional externalcamera, run additionalpower and Ethernet.Wire the poweradapter provided asshown to the right.The far end of thecable should be wiredas shown below.Open the box, and pullthe power and gateconnection from boardand wire as indicated.Make sure to wire gateoperator using thesame wires as indicatedhere. (These are the yellow and blue wiresfrom the diagram above.) This should trigger thegate to open. The camera supplied forWatchman is the Milesight IR Pro Bullet Network Camera. The Milesight camera is the ONLY supportedcamera.WARNING: DO NOT MAKE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS TO CAMERA WITH THE SYSTEM ENERGIZED.
