Tubes SBU has retained its leadership position in the segments it operates, it has an installed production capacity of over 6, 00, 000 tons per annum and has ambitious plans to be a 1 Million ton player in the near future. BUSINESS VERTICALS With continuous expansion and growth propositions on the anvil, Tubes SBU presently has three main lines of business : 01. HighStructural quality hollow sections under the brand “Tata Structura” cater the Construction segment for load bearing and aesthetic applications. 01 02. Conveyance 03. Precisioni Galvanized and MS tubes under the brand “Tata Pipes” cater the irrigation borewell segment as well as Plumbing applications for water supply, fire hydrants and HVAC. Manufactured with utmost precision these tubes cater the high end – Automotive applications as well as boiler segment. They are branded as “Tata Precision”. Steel Hollow Sections are an integral part of modern buildings : Steel hollow sections are proving to be the most versatile and efficient form of structural steel for construction and mechanical applications. Many of the iconic and most impressive structures in the world today would not have been possible without hollow sections. Tata Structura : Tata Steel pioneered the concept of Steel Hollow sections in India when it started manufacturing square and rectangular sections in the late 1970’s. Tata Structura Steel Hollow sections are superior in quality and are manufactured using raw materials that come from Tata Steel's world-class Hot Strip Mill. - First of its kind in India Now-a-days steel is being used more as exposed member to reveal its essence. This requires it to be aesthetically appealing along with needed strength. The tubular form is most suited for such application and at the same time proving to be inherently strong and efficient. It gives buildings a better strength-to- weight ratio than those using comparable steel, concrete or timber products. In construction, this strength-to-weight ratio reduces material usage and allows for greater spans. This results in lightweight, airy structures that are aesthetically pleasing within our communities and environments. The world started noticing the arrival of the priemer product when the hollow sections product was branded as “Tata Structura” in the year 2005. This innovative product helped the Indian Architects and Structural engineers to realise their dreams of building aesthetically superiror structures on par with International landmarks. Together , this revolution laid the foundation of a modern and dynamic India . 02

HEIGHTS OF EXCELLENCE ENGINEERED FOR ADMIRATION Cathedral termites can build extraordinarily tough towers that are more than 15 feet high and have natural air-conditioning systems. . introducing INSPIRED BY NATURE Sustainable development is key to the survival of the human race, today’s best practises in construction industry warrants the use of more sustainable materials to reduce the carbon foot print. Tata Steel has been a pioneer in adapting sustainable best practises in all realms of operations. It also strives to manufacture more sustainable innovative products which will help the construction faternity. Nature has mastered the art of sustainability and it inspires us to innovate; for example : the ant which weighs 3-4 milligram can carry 40-50 times its own weight, similarly the spider web is so intricate and very strong.imilarly the spider web is so intricate and very strong. 03 TATA STRUCTURA Inspired by the availability of high strength materials in nature, Tata Steel is introducting a high strength variant of Steel Hollow Sections called “Tata Structura 355” Tata Structura 355 – has an enhanced yeild strength of min 355 Mpa on par with International standards The higher strength will help to minimise the quantity of steel there by saving cost and more importantly help reduce the carbon foot print Thus Tata Structura 355 is truly a sustainable product developed to aid the Architects and enigneers in transforming the Indian Skyline with architectural wonders which are not only good looking but are also made of sustainable materials. 04
