I will establish and maintain a relationship offunctional trust with my Pastor, leaders, and everymember of this church. My relationship with each ofyou will be equally respectful, regardless of leadershipposition, ministry team, or levels of spiritual oreducational preparation. I ask that you do the same. 2020Fourteen Bed Rock Principles of HHIM Church1. Commitment to Worship: Worship is encountering God in experiences that deepens a Christian’s faith andstrengthens him or her for service. Worship of God in Christ should be at the center of all else the church is anddoes.2. Commitment to Witness: Our number one goal is and will always be the salvation of the lost All Christians, theentire church, is to be witnesses of Christ’s saving grace. This is our primary focus for our vision: Connecting theheart of man to the Heart of God. Getting people connected to a personal relationship with our Lord and savior JesusChrist.3. Commitment to Nurture and Educate: Nurture is the sum of experiences that nourish and develop individuals inthe Body. Education is those processes that provide for growth in knowledge, wisdom, and Christian performance.The church was commanded to teach. The early church took this responsibility to disciple seriously. Believers areresponsible for growth and action toward Christian maturity. Church leaders are charged to cause this growth.4. Commitment to Minister (servitude): The church takes from Christ Himself the example of servant ministry. Heinstructed His followers to forget themselves and give themselves wholly to the service of others. While ministrytakes many forms, as Christians all we do and say is to be accomplished in His name.5. Commitment to Holistic Living: We will seek the holistic improvement of each member of our ministry,spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. We will preach and teach biblical mandates to achieve successin all these areas. We will also make available the necessary classes, groups, resources, and qualified individuals tohelp each willing member achieve holistic improvements.6. Commitment to Youth Empowerment: We will empower youth in our church and community with the Word ofGod, programs, resources, training, and state of the art facilities to meet the needs of our youth.7. Commitment to Community involvement: We will impact the Town of Moncks Corner and the surrounding areaswith our television ministry, radio ministry, outreach campaigns, civil involvement, street evangelism, crusades,business development, city-wide events, and intercession for the city, partnership with local organization throughoutthe community and city officials.8. Commitment to in-reach and out-reach: We will always specialize in in-reach and out-reach programs that helpsmeet the basic needs of all people: hurting, homeless, hungry, substance abuse issues, the incarcerated, and thosewho have suffered from physical, verbal or emotional abuse.9. Commitment to excellence: We will continue to be the model for excellence ministry in our town and in ournation. We will always strive to be excellent in our customer service - how we treat our members, visitors and guestfrom the moment they pull into our parking lot and when they leave our services, and when they call, e-mail or writewith requests or concerns. We will be the standard for excellence in how we do people.10. Commitment to Humility and Love: We will always stay humble and maintain the spirit of love and humility forthe favor and grace that is extended to us by the heavenly Father for our accomplishments and success. As we do so,others will always see His presence, love, power, and grace working through our lives [as a whole] that our witnessmay draw people to Him.11. Commitment to Music & Performing Arts: We will use this medium (as it is a universal language) to broadcastour message to the masses who will not necessarily come and hear our sermons. We will give them a sermonthrough music and the arts so that we can creatively give them the love and hope of Our Savior Jesus Christ.12. Commitment to Fellowship: We will always have Programs of Enrichment that produces Koinonia (Fellowship& Love) for the saints of God. We will always fellowship and take out for one another and build and environmentthat promotes a sense of family, belonging, worth, value, love, and genuine concerns for the saints of God.5

202013. Commitment to Praise: Praise is what we have been created to do as we look to God as the light of ourjourney. As we praise Him, He will guide and lead us through our earth journey. It is this supernatural weapon thatwill give us continuous victory against life's opposition; it is one of many reasons that we will Praise Him.14. Commitment to Prayer: Prayer is communication with God. He is all Supreme, all Powerful, all Knowing andthe most important person to us on the planet. We have made a heart decision to talk to Him every day of our lives.This is the foundation of how our relationship is established with Him; thus, it is paramount for every member ofHHIM church to engage in prayer every day.6
