Johan Fryer Director Johan joined the South African Police Service in 1985. He was stationed at the South African Police Service (SAPS) Tshwane College itself and was utilized as a Musketry Instructor. In 1993 he successfully completed the Special Task Force Training Course after which he completed his entire advance training courses and was utilized as a Special Task Force Operator. During his time stationed at the unit, he was intensely involved in developing courses for the SAPS functional policing but for various other specialised units as well. In 2006 he was transferred to the STF Operational Unit where he was utilized as a subject matter expert in the presentation of Rural Survival and Sniping courses presented as elective training for the unit’s first tier operators. His operational experience involved numerous operations which have included the release of hostages from buildings and the release of kidnapped individuals. The apprehending of armed and dangerous criminals, joint cross-border operations to destroy arms caches and when required deploying in a counter sniping during the protecting and visiting of numerous Heads of State and foreign dignitaries on official visits to South Africa. This accumulated into numerous high-risk operations and experiences. Since leaving the SAPS, Johan joined TSU Training Solutions in 2016 as Head of Training & Development. Mac McGuire (Mac) Instructor Mac McGuire was a Director and a founding partner of one of the largest Specialised Security and Protection companies in South Africa until he decided to venture out into industry as a specialised consultant. He has been active in the Specialist Security Field and has accumulated over two decade's experience within the private and public sectors. He started his career in the field of security as a member of 9 Page
