FEES AND ENTRY INFORMATION When a dog is entered in more than one class, the highest priced class is the first entry. Move-ups for the Obedience/Rally Trials will be allowed after the closing of entries. The lowest jump height will begin the class and the order will be by ascending jump height. ATTENTION EXHIBITORS The trial site will be available to all exhibitors at 7:00 am on Friday, August 13, 2021. No dogs may be left at the show site overnight. Dogs must be removed from the trial site immediately following the award of High in Trial on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021. These trials are governed by the American Kennel Club. Exhibitors should read the AKC Agreement on the backside of the entry form in the Premium List. ADDITIONAL RULES 1. Fees must accompany entries. RROTC and/or the Trial Committee assume no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry form by the owner or agent of the owner. RROTC and/or the Trial Committee assume no responsibility for the owner or the owner’s agent entering a dog in a class in which the dog is not eligible to compete, or for entering the same dog twice. Obedience trial entries please refer to AKC Obedience Regulations Amended to January 1, 2019 and Rally trial entries please refer to AKC Rally Regulations Amended to February 1, 2019, regarding descriptions of classes and eligibility. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees, signatures, or the “Agreement” on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form. No entry may be changed or canceled unless notice of the change or cancellation is received in writing by the Trial Secretary prior to the closing date and hour for entries, except that a correction may be made in the sex of the dog. 2. Entry fees will NOT be refunded if a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by Veterinarian or Judge or because it has been entered incorrectly. 3. Bitches in season are not allowed at these events. Entry fees for bitches coming in season after entries close will be refunded, less a 10.00 handling fee, with written certification from a Veterinarian and which are presented to the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the judging of the first class. 4. There will be no refund for duplicate entries. 5. No entry fees will be refunded if the Trials cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of RROTC and/or the Trial Committee. 6. Refunds of 10.00 or less will not be issued due to the costs of processing. 7. RROTC and/or the Trial Committee may decline any entries for just cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of aggression, viciousness, disease, deformity, injury or illness which may affect the dog’s physical or mental performance, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against RROTC and/or the Trial Committee or any official thereof. 8. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing or by e-mail prior to the close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. 9. All Obedience and Rally events are open to all dogs that are six (6) months of age or older that are registered with AKC. Unregistered dogs with an AKC Limited Registration number and dogs with a PAL (Purebred Alternative Listing) or ILP (Indefinite Listing Privilege) number and dogs listed with AKC Canine Partners may also be entered in these events. The AKC Limited Registration number, PAL or ILP number, or AKC Canine Partners listing number must be shown on the entry form. Dogs with a PAL (Purebred Alternative Listing), ILP (Indefinite Listing Privilege), or Canine Partners number must be spayed or neutered in order to compete. Bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury or illness which may affect the dog’s physical or mental performance are not eligible to compete. All dogs should be physically sound and no dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Puppies under six (6) months of age are strictly prohibited from the Trial grounds. 10. Move-ups for the Obedience and Rally Trials will be allowed after the closing of entries. 11. Exhibitors should follow their Veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, communicable diseases and have had the appropriate vaccinations. 12. RROTC and/or the Trial Committee reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All prizes must be claimed the day of the show. None will be mailed.

13. Except when in the ring, all dogs must be on leash at all times while on the show premises. 14. Only dogs that are eligible to be shown under The American Kennel Club rules shall be allowed within the show precincts. JUDGING 1. Judging will start promptly. During the hours of judging, owners are to be on call and have their dogs ready to bring into the ring promptly in order that the judging will not be delayed. 2. It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to have his dog ready and at the entrance of the ring when the Steward calls for the Class. Owners or agents of the dog alone are responsible for the presence of the dogs in the rings. There is no rule that requires the Judge to wait for a late dog. No public address system shall be used to notify individual Exhibitors that they should be at ringside. 3. Judging procedures may be modified to accommodate disabled handlers. LOSS OR DAMAGE 1. RROTC and/or the Trial Committee assume no responsibility for any loss, damage to, injury or death sustained by any Exhibitor, Handler, or to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children whether the result of accident or any other cause. It is expressly understood that every dog at these Trials is in the care, custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. 2. Any Exhibitor whose dog and/or child creates unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engages in unsafe behavior, may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such cases, no refund of any fees will be made. 3. The welfare of Exhibitor’s children is the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is expressly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on the day of the show. Parents will be responsible for the safety of their children and damages done by their children. 4. Do not leave any dogs in closed vehicles. RROTC and/or the Trial Committee reserve the right to remove any dogs found in distress in a vehicle on the Show grounds at the cost of the owner. 5. In accordance with Sections I. and II. of Dealing with Misconduct at American Kennel Club Events, RROTC and/or the Trial Committee reserve the right to retain Trial Committee jurisdiction over Exhibitors whose names have been referred by hotels/motels as having left their rooms and/or grounds in a state that appears negligent or offensive. 6. In accordance with Section IV of Dealing with Misconduct at American Kennel Club Events, any Exhibitor engaging in conduct prejudicial to the sport, including, but not limited to, a demonstration of dissatisfaction with a judge’s decision, including refusal to accept a ribbon or throwing a ribbon on the ground; altercations with officials or participants; abusive or foul language in public; and mistreatment of a dog will be subject to Trial Committee jurisdiction. PARKING & SET-UP 1. Please observe handicap parking and do not block exits. Please observe “No Parking” signs and do not park on the grass. Some areas may be off limits to dogs. Violators may be issued citations and/or towed at their expense. 2. After loading and unloading, vehicles must be moved to the parking area. No parking is allowed immediately adjoining the loading/unloading area. 3. No hookups are available so each RV must be self-contained. 4. No guard will be on duty, therefore please be aware RROTC and the Trial Committee are not responsible for dogs or property left on the show grounds. No dogs are to be left at the site overnight. 5. EXHIBITORS MUST CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOGS both at the show site and at the hotels/motels, including any materials used under exercise pens in the parking lot. These materials must be removed and disposed of before leaving the show grounds. Any Exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund. Cleaning supplies and disposal sites will be available at various locations around the show grounds. 6. The Show Site Committee reserves the right to alter crating arrangements for space purposes. 7. SPECIAL NOTE: ALL CRATING AND CHAIRS MUST BE ON MATS OR MATTING OF SOME TYPE.

A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.) 2. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e, A or B division.
