DPI doesthree things: talent development for high-demand tech jobs;applied research and development; and strengthening the city’stech ecosystem.DPI will help retain the students we’ve educated, make ourcurrent workforce more skilled and diversify our tech talentpipeline, with an intentional focus on reaching underrepresentedand underserved populations.DPI launched an inaugural group of eight world-classresearch teams from the U of I System and partner universitieswith more than 1 million in seed funding.
