Aim the Remote Keyless Entrytransmitter at the vehicle.2. PressThe engine will continue to run for10 minutes. Repeat the steps for a10-minute time extension. Remotestart can be extended only once.Aim the RKE transmitter at thevehicle and press and hold /until the parking lamps turn off.Turn on the hazard warningflashers.Turn the vehicle on and then off.Q.3. Immediately after completingStep 2, press and hold / untilthe turn signal lamps flash, or forabout 2 seconds if the vehicle isnot in view.When the vehicle starts, the parkinglamps will turn on and remain onas long as the engine is running.The doors will be locked andthe climate control system maycome on.Door LocksTo lock or unlock a door:.From the inside, use the doorlock knob on the window sill.From the outside turn the keytoward the front or rear of thevehicle, or press the Q or Kbutton on the Remote KeylessEntry (RKE) transmitter. Press one of the four sides onthe i (control pad) to adjust themirror.3. Adjust each outside mirror sothat a little of the vehicle and thearea behind it can be seen.InteriorAdjust the inside rearview mirrorfor a clear view of the area behindyour vehicle. To avoid glare of theheadlamps from behind, push thetab forward for daytime and pull itfor nighttime use.Canada and MexicoThe passenger sensing system willturn off the right front passengerfrontal airbag under certainconditions. The driver airbag androof‐rail airbags are not affected bythe passenger sensing system.Vehicles with outside power mirrorshave controls located on the driverdoor armrest.Vehicles with an automatic dimminginside rearview mirror reduces theglare from the headlamps of thevehicle behind you.
