Small Game HuntingR EG U L AT I O N SRegulations in red are new this year.valid hunting license (Bowand Arrow, Firearm or All-Around Sportsman)is required to pursue any small game species. Seepage 20 for General Hunting Regulations. The seasonfor ruffed grouse is closed statewide. The use ofdogs, unless specifically stated otherwise, is permitted to pursue any small game species, except wildturkey. Hunting for those species shown on page 51A CURRENT ANDis prohibited during the statewide Six-day Firearm(deer) Season and on the Wednesday of the PermitShotgun (deer) Season that immediately follows theSix-day Firearm Season. For exceptions, see Coyoteand Fox and Semi-wild and Commercial Preserve Hunting sections below.
