Why?Perhaps it took Grandpa so long to be persuaded by Grandma’s arguments because she didn’t give him reasons tosupport her opinion. We are going to use simple symbols like a dot or a star instead.Brainstorm about 3 - 4 (or more if you like) body percussion sounds for example: clap (your hands), snap (click yourfingers), stomp (your feet) and hit the table or desk.Draw a symbol to represent each sound for example: a star for clap, a heart for snap, a square for stomp and atriangle for “hit” the table or desk.Make a pattern or a strip of the symbols in whatever order you like.Test out how your sound song will sound when performed.You could make many different strips of sounds and rearrange the order, so your sound song is different every time.If you can, take a video of your performance or send a photo of your sound song and I could try it out.Here is an example of what your sound song would look like.
