FILTERS7CARE AND MAINTENANCE89General careTake good care of your Pure 411 to ensure that it delivers optimalperformance.Grip the filterhandles and pullupwards to removethe main filter fromthe unit.10Attach the pre-filterover the main filter.The pre-filter shouldonly cover the filtershelf, and not theinner filter ring of thefilter holder unit.Position the newmain filter onto theinner structure. Thefilter handles shouldface upwards.11Carefully push thetop cylinder down,at the same timerotating it clockwiseto secure it back intothe bayonet lock.12Plug in your Pure 411air purifier.16Press the filter shelffirmly into positionabove the mainfilter. The filter shelfprotects the topedge of the mainfilter from damage.13Vacuum the pre-filter occasionally to remove dust, or wash iton a gentle, low temperature cycle in the washing machine.Change the main filter every six months, depending on theoperating conditions.
