Looking into theopenings in the mating end of the connector,you will need to push the small latchesinside, towards the outside of the connectorbody, while gently pulling the wire andterminal, from the other end.Be careful not to break the latches.The white Defrost Module connectorto the right, needs to have the blackretaining strip removed, prior topushing the latches, to releasethe terminals. This retaining stripwill be replaced, after the newterminals are installed. If the stripshould break, during removal, theconnector will still work without it.LatchPush in latches here, toremove retaining strip.SCThe two Wiper Motor connectors, have a retaining clip on the wire side, that must beremoved, prior to pushing the latches to release the terminals. These retaining clipswill be replaced, after the new terminals are installed. STEP 3: RECONNECT YOUR BATTERY:When you have completed the installation and are ready to reconnect the battery, make sure that the followingelectrical system grounds are in place:A.B.C.D.Battery is grounded to the ENGINE BLOCK.Battery is grounded to the frame.Engine block is grounded to the frame.Body is grounded to the frame.STEP 4: CHECK ALL ELECTRICAL FUNCTIONS:Any non-functioning items should be checked for proper installation.
