We also were able to recognize 3 youth for the completion of the StarAward, which means that the youth have earned all four of the God and CountryAwards. Congratulations to them and their families. This is a major accomplishment for them.the recognition of 108We were also able to recognize one youth for heroic action, as he helped inyouth receiving their Godsaving his mother’s life. Congratulations to Jacob Liebsch for earning your Godand Country Award, alongand Me Award along with the celebration of knowing when and how to call 911.with 33 adults receivingtheir Mentoring Award. Itwas an awesome celebration of how God has worked in the lives of our youth and their families. Over400 friends and family members gathered to share in this event.The break out of each of the programs includes: God and Me, grades 1-3,received 34 awards. God and Family, grades 4-6, had 36 youth completing theirprogram. God and Church, grades 7-8, included 20 youth in their numbers, andGod and Life, grades 9-12, had a record number of 18 youth completing theiraward.Mentors for each level included 14 adults mentoring in the God and Me level,10 adults in the God and Family program, 6 adults worked with the God andThis program is possible because of the work of many counselors and counselors in training. For this last year’s program, we had 14 counselors, along with 12counselors in training. The program was shared between two facilities, run withthe same program and agenda in order to serve the northern and central locationsof our youth.Next year’s program will expand to the current locations, along with one moreaddition into the south part of the city.
