Retain instructions for future reference.DescriptionPlunger Pumps are designed for a wide variety of highpressure washing applications. They are constructedwith die-cast bodies and feature a brass head. Internalcomponents include coated ceramic plungers for long lifeand durability. Precision cast cooling fins are anodized formaximum heat dissipation. Oversized needle bearings on thedrive side, and ball on the non-drive side together with theprecision supports assure positive alignment and centeringin relation to the crankcase. Valve cages of special designedUltra-Form provide positive seating and extended life. Onepiece connecting rods are special alloy aluminum, bronzerods over 4,000 psi units, oversized for strength and loaddisbursement. These pumps are designed for gasoline drivensystems.Figure 1Hollow ShaftFigure 2Hollow ShaftRSV 3400 rpm D Version - 3/4”ModelMax GPM Max PSIRSV2.5G25D-F252.52500RSV3G25D-F2532500RSV 3400 rpm D Version - 1”ModelMax GPM Max F4043000RSV4G40D-F4044000NORTHAMERICAForm RSV-OM 0607First ChoiceWhen QualityMattersHighPerformancePumps

RSV Series PumpsOperating Instructions and Parts ManualPlunger PumpsGeneral Safety Information(continued)Maximum water temperature is140 F.All positive displacement plungerpumps must have a safety relief valveinstalled on the discharge side of thepump, this valve could be either anunloader or regulator and must be ofadequate flow and pressure for thepump.Adequate protective guards mustcover all moving parts. Performroutine maintenance on the pump andcomponents.Use only components that are ratedfor the flow and pressure of the pump, this would include hose, fittings, safetyvalves, spray guns etc.Electric Drive PumpsYour power supply must conform to thesystem requirements. The motor must be grounded. UseGFCI plugs and receivers.Do not handle the pump/motor withwet hands.Only use power cords that are ingood condition.Never pull the unit by the powercord.Never spray or clean the unit with waterFailure to follow these warningsmay result in personal injury ordamage to property.InstallationDirect Drive Gasoline Pumps1. Install theshaft key into thekeyway and applya light coating ofanti-seize on theengine shaft. (SeeFigure 3)Figure 32. Align the two key waysand push the pump completelyonto the engine.3. Install all four (4) bolts and tightenevenly.4. Remove the redshipping oil cap andinstall the blackcrankcase vent cap.(See Figure 4)Figure 45. Install the appropriateunloader valve and otheraccessories.6. Install the appropriate water inletand discharge fittings.7. Connect the water supply hose andhigh-pressure discharge hose/spraygun.8. Turn on the water supply.9. Open the spray gun to purge thesystem of any air.10. Start the engine.11. Adjust the engine speed andunloader valve.Winter or Long Time Storage1.Drain all of the water out of thepump.2.Run a 50% solution of a RV ornon-toxic/biodegradable antifreezeNORTHAMERICAFirst Choice When Quality Matters

Thevalves are located under the six 19mmhex plugs. The inlet valves are locatedon the inside portion of the head underthe seal assemblies and the dischargevalves are located on the top row of thepump head.1.Tools required: #8-32x” machine screwand diagonal pliers, screw driver, 19mmsocket, ratchet, and torque wrench.3.Discharge ValveRemoval:1.Remove the valvecap. (See Figure 5)2.Inspect the valvecap O-ring for anydamage, replace ifnecessary.3.Insert the valveassembly squarelyinto the portpushing it into placewith a deap wellsocket (you will feelthe valve assemblyseat). plunger stops above the perforations so the gas comes in below the plunger, and prevent damage to the seating nipple and tubing. The plunger arrival sensor is a small but critical component of the plunger lift system. Its purpose is simple; to notify the controller of a plunger's arrival at surface. A plunger velocity sensor replaces the

Conventional Plunger Lift System A conventional plunger is a great application if you have a low volume, low pressure or marginal well. Typical production rates for conventional plunger lift systems are wells that produce under 50 blp/d and/or under 200mcf/d. This type of plunger is also ideal for wells with tubing irregularities or wells

The gas lift application supports both Plunger Assisted Gas Lift (PAGL) and Gas Assisted Plunger Lift (GAPL) modes. The gas lift program can be used in an independent way, or it can coordinate with the plunger program to inject gas at certain parts of the plunger cycle. The

of plunger can then be regulated and optimized with the proper tuning of intermittent gas injection and plunger operation. It is a challenge to keep the Plunger lift optimized under dynamic field operating scenarios. In this paper the Plunger assisted intermittent gas lift wel
