We hope that 2009will be a better year for all of us.Included in this bulletin is a reprint of an emailfrom state Exalted Ruler Marilyn Dettmer to the localExalted Rulers concerning the possibility of funds forsome flood relief for our members and Lodge. As youwill find the information is disappointing. I made that request inJuly pursuant to directions from Mark Huegel and TedCallicott. (State sponsors from Grand Lodge) At thatpoint I was led to believe that money be available tocover some damages. I did receive detailed feedbackform those of you whose Lodges and members wereaffected. I want to take this opportunity to thank all ofyou for your time and effort. I took this information tothe Feb. State Trustees meeting and shared it with them.
No one there seemed to know how and where to proceedwith this. After that meeting I sent a letter to State SponsorTed Callicott requesting him to provide us with detailedinformation on the issue at our Spring Convention.
