INTRODUCTIONThis Digest of Legislation provides long titles of bills and resolutions enactedby the 56th Legislature in the 2006 General Session and 2005 SecondSpecial Session. The digest lists the sponsor, sections of the Utah Codeaffected, effective date, session law chapter number for each bill enacted,and whether the bill was studied and approved by an interim committee (initalics). Bills vetoed by the governor are also identified, summarized, andpresented with the governor’s veto message. Bills and resolutions notpassed are indexed by subject.
