Agegroups will divide by weight, as required for the safety of the competitors (As many groups as required).Competitors may be moved up to the next age, with permission from the parents, coaches and tournamentdirector. ** Junior Novice: (White & Yellow) (Same as Junior Players) NOTE: Jr. Novice Divisions are not eligiblefor all star points. ** Men and Women Novice Masters: divisions to be determined after weigh-in. This is a division for thosebeginning players whose age would allow them to play in the Masters’ division, but who rank might ordinarilydeter them. To qualify the player must be above the age of 30, and be below Brown Belt in rank. Youth division available to players who are under the age of 20 on the day of the competition. Players under the ageof 17 will be allowed to enter, but only with permission of their coach and parents, and the tournament directors. Youthdivision players will be permitted to compete in any other division, in which they are eligible (i.e., junior or senior).All competitors in Youth and Senior divisions will compete using Senior rules (i.e., arm bars and chokes) regardlessof their ages.Kata competition as required by TJI All Star Rules: Nage No and Katame No, for both Senior and Junior players.(Additional kata may be added.)AWARDS for Mose Woodson Classic:Trophy for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. All other junior players will receive aparticipation medal. Junior and Senior Team Trophies to be awarded to the clubs with the most points (First 3 points, Second 2 points, and Third 1 point).Unique trophy design this year!ELIGIBILITY:All contestants must be active members in good standing of USJI, USJA, or USJF. Application for USJI membershipmay be made at the tournament. Only competitors with a rank of Sankyu and above will be permitted to compete in theSenior Divisions. Only competitors with ranks below Sankyu will be permitted to compete in the Novice Divisions.Junior competitors, who hold the rank of Blue Belt (or above) and who are at least 15 years old, may compete in theSenior Division.
