Student ConductSince June 19, 2019 we have received 9 complaints containing reportsof disruptive behavior. This includes Summer and Fall 2019 throughSeptember 23, 2019. 6 of the reports have been filed since Opening Weekend (8/24) 6 reports from single-family homes 1 report from 3333 Wisconsin Ave. Apts. 2 reports from the Avalon Apts.Same period last year (June 19, 2018 through Sept. 23, 2018) totaled 8 reports.

Outreach and Education Opening of fall semester: Letter was sent from the Office of the Dean of Studentsreminding students of university expectations, DC Noise Ordinance, and StudentConduct policies. Two Off-campus Living Orientation sessions held: One for Recognized StudentOrganizations with group houses; one for student-athletes and club sport memberswith group houses. Orientations involved university administration, AUPD, MPD,Montgomery County Police, Office of Tenant Advocacy. Meeting held with property managers at 3333 Wisconsin Ave: attended by MichelleEspinosa, Associate Dean of Students, and Maria Barry, Director of CommunityRelations. Additional meetings being planned by Michelle and Maria with management fromThe Avalon, The Berkshires, The Greenbriar, Alban Towers, McLean Gardens, andCathedral Commons.
