8Moving and Lifting the MonitorENGLISHENGWhen moving or lifting the monitor, follow theseinstructions to prevent the monitor from beingscratched or damaged and to ensure safe transportation regardless of its shape or size.CAUTIONAs far as possible, avoid touching the moniyytor screen. This may result in damage to thescreen or some of the pixels used to createimages.It is advisable to place the monitor in theyyoriginal box or packing material before attempting to move it.Before moving or lifting the monitor, disconyynect the power cord and all cables.Hold the top and bottom of the monitor frameyyfirmly. Do not hold the panel itself.If you use the monitor panel without theyystand base, its joystick button may causethe monitor to become unstable and fall,resulting in damage to the monitor or humaninjury. In addition, this may cause the joystickbutton to malfunction.When holding the monitor, the screen shouldyyface away from you to prevent it beingscratched.When moving the monitor, avoid any strongyyshock or vibrations to the product.When moving the monitor, keep it upright,yynever turn the monitor on its side or tilt itsideways.

14USING THE MONITOR SETENGLISHConnecting to a PCYour Monitor set supports Plug & Play*.yy*Plug & Play: A PC recognizes a connecteddevice that users connect to a PC and turnon, without device configuration or userintervention.HDMI connectionTransmits the digital video and audio signals fromyour PC to the Monitor set. Connect the PC andthe Monitor set with the HDMI cable as shown inthe following illustrations.D-SUB connectionTransmits analog video from your PC to theMonitor set. Connect the PC and the Monitor setwith the supplied D-sub 15 pin signal cable asshown in the following illustrations.HDMI IN 1HDMI IN 2NOTEIf you use HDMI PC, it can cause compatibilityyyproblem.Use a certified cable with the HDMI logoyyattached. If you do not use a certified HDMIcable, the screen may not display or aconnection error may occur.Recommended HDMI cable typesyy- High-Speed HDMI /TMM Cable- High-Speed HDMI /TM Cable with EthernetNOTEWhen using a D-Sub signal input cableyyconnector for MacintoshMac adapteryyFor Apple Macintosh use, a separate plugadapter is needed to change the 15 pinhigh density (3 row) D-SUB VGA connectoron the supplied cable to a 15 pin 2 rowconnector.NOTEWhen you want to use two PC in our Monitor,yyplease connect the signal cable(D-SUB/DVI-D/HDMI) respectively in Monitor set.If you turn the Monitor set on while it is cold,yythe screen may flicker. This is normal.Some red, green, or blue spots may appearyyon the screen. This is normal.
