FALL SPORTS PHYSICALS:All individuals who are planning on attending tryouts MUST also have a valid sports physicalcompleted AFTER April 15th, 2016 and submitted NO LATER than August 1st to the CantonAthletic Department. The only valid physical form, as mandated by the Michigan High SchoolAthletic Association (MHSAA), is attached below:MHSAA Physical Form: 015/06/MHSAAPhysical-Form-1.pdfCompleted physical forms can be dropped off in the Canton Phase III Athletic Office Dropbox(again.located in Phase III, not the main high school building). Building hours are 9:00am-1:00pm Monday through Friday. Should you want to submit your form directly to the AthleticDepartment Secretary, you can do so on Tuesday, July 19th from 9:00am-2:00pm. If you areunable to submit during any of these times, you must bring the completed physical to the 1stday of tryouts.FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION:All individuals who are planning on attending soccer tryouts on August 10th/11th MUSTregister with the Athletic Department using the link provided below. This MUST be completedprior to August 1st.Registration Link: http://cantonathletics.com/registration PAY TO PARTICIPATE FEE:As a reminder, all individuals who are selected to either the Varsity, JV or Freshmen soccerteams MUST pay the 385 Pay to Participate Fee, as mandated by the Plymouth-CantonCommunity Schools, within 2 weeks of team selection. This fee covers unlimited participationfor all school-funded sports for one student for the school year. CROSSFIT TRAINING:CrossFit training sessions will resume on Monday, July 11th after the mandated “deadperiod” per MHSAA rules. SOCCER WORLD LOCK-IN SALES EVENT Following up on the previously announced Soccer World Lock-In Event, please add thefollowing date/time to your calendar. Please try to attend based upon last year’s playerteam assignment so that we can balance the number of players at each session. Again, this Team Camp is preferred for allreturning Varsity players and optional for all other players.
