Series 3700A System Switch/Multimeter and Plug-In CardsTSP Distributed Control Increases Test Speedand Lowers Test CostTSP technology enhances instrument control by allowingusers the choice of using standard PC control or ofcreating embedded test scripts that are executed onmicroprocessors within the instrument. By using TSP testscripts instead of a PC for instrument control, you avoidcommunication delays between the PC controller andinstrument, which results in improved test throughput.Test scripts can contain math and decision- making rulesthat further reduce the interaction between a host PCand the instrument. This form of distributed control supports the autonomousoperation of individual instruments or groups ofinstruments and can possibly remove the need for a highlevel PC controller, which lowers test and ownershipcosts. This is the same proven TSP technology found inour innovative Series 2600B System SourceMeter SMUinstruments.TSP-Link Technology for Easy and SeamlessSystem Coordination and ExpansionIf your channel density requirements grow or if you needto process more signal types, use TSP-Link to expandyour system. The TSP-Link master/slave connectionoffers easy system expansion between Series 3700Amainframes. You can also use TSP-Link to connect toother TSP-Link enabled instruments such as Series2600B SourceMeter SMU instruments. Everythingconnected with TSP-Link can be controlled by the masterunit, just as if they were all housed in the same chassis. This high speed system expansion interface lets usersavoid the complex and time-consuming task of expandingtheir remote interfaces to another mainframe. There is noneed to add external triggers and remote communicationcables to individual instruments, since all TSP-Linkconnected devices can be controlled from a singlemaster unit.Test Script Builder Software SuiteTest Script Builder is a software tool that is provided withall Series 3700A instruments to help users easily create, modify, debug, and store TSP test scripts. It supplies aproject/file manager window to store and organize testscripts, a context-sensitive program editor to create andmodify test TSP code, and an immediate instrumentcontrol window to send Ethernet, GPIB, and USBcommands and to receive data from the instrument. Theimmediate window also allows users to see the output of agiven test script and simplifies d ebugging.Create and modifytest TSP code in thecontext-sensitiveeditor window.Store andorganize testscripts in thefile managerwindow. The immediate window displays test scriptoutput and assists in debugging.Test Script Builder Software SuiteVersion 1.4LXI Core 2011 with LXI Clock Synchronization, LXITimestamped Data, LXI Event Messaging, LXI Event Log.Transportable Memory, USB 2.0 Device PortAll 3706A mainframes contain a USB device port for easytransfer of readings, configurations, and test scripts tomemory sticks. This port, which is located on the frontpanel, provides you with easy access to and portabilityof measurement results. Series 3700A System Switch/Multimeter and Plug-In CardsAC Notes1. 20% overrange on AC functions except 1% on 300 V and 3.33% on 3 A. Default resolution is 5½ digits, maximum useable resolution is 6½ with 7½ digits programmable.2. Specification are for Detector Bandwidth 3 and sinewave inputs 5% of range. Detector Bandwidth 3 and 30 are multi-sample A/D conversions. Detector bandwidth 300 is a single A/Dconversion, programmable from 0.0005 PLC to 15 PLC. Default condition set to 1 PLC.3. Applies to 0 –18 C and 28 –50 C.4. Specified for square wave inputs. Input signal must be 10% of ACV range. If input is 20 mV on the 100 mV range then the frequency must be 10 Hz. For sinewave inputs, frequencymust be 100 Hz.5. Applies to non-sinewave inputs 5 Hz– 10 kHz, and DC content 3% of range.6. For 1 kΩ unbalance in LO lead.7. For 3721, 1 mA ACI, add 0.05% to “of reading” uncertainty from 250 Hz 10 kHz.8. Shunt resistance guaranteed by design.9. Reading rates are for 60 Hz (50 Hz) operation using factory defaults operating conditions dmm.reset(“all”), Autorange off, dmm.autodelay dmm.OFF, dmm.opendetector dmm.OFF, format.data. format.SREAL. Ranges as follows: DCV 10 V, 2WW/4WW 1 kΩ, DCI 1 mA, Dry-Ckt W 10 Ω, ACI 1 mA, and ACV 1 V. For Dry-Ckt W with Offset Comp OFF 2 kΩ, 60 rdg/smax. Dry-Ckt W with Offset Comp ON 2 kΩ, 29.5 rdg/s max. For temperature reading rates use DCV for T/C and 2WW for Thermistor. Speeds are typical and include measurements anddata transfer out the Ethernet, GPIB, or USB.10. DMM configured for si

The API Specification and the EEMUA Specification differ slightly in some respects. The main differences in the specifications are in the requirements for the rheological properties and filtrate loss of the slurry. The rheological properties of the slurry at different rates of shear are determined using a direct reading viscometer. Filtrate loss is determined using a filter press. Test methods .
