SPAN TABLESSPAN TABLES- These span tables have been developed in goodfaith, with the assistance of Mr.Peter Falvey B.E.,M.I.E.Aust., C.P.Eng., R.P.E.Q.(579) in accordancewith the relevant Australian Standards, howeverplease check for state and local governmentvariations.- These span tables are only for use in conjunctionwith TaranakipineTM timber products. They cannotbe used for timber products produced by any othertimber manufacturer regardless of similarityof species or design. Taranakipine timber productsare produced to stringent quality assuranceprocedures which include the measurementof strength and stiffness ratings.Taranakipine cannot assure other manufacturerscomply with our quality assurance procedures.- All products are manufactured from H3 LOSPRadiata Pine to either F7 or GL8 structuralgrade and are to be used in accordance with therelevant span table.- Timber grading of all products is compliant withAS1720: Timber Structures.- Structural products deemed satisfactory tomeet the provisions outlined in AS1170 parts 1&2:Structural Design Actions.- Finger jointing and adhesives to meet serviceconditions outlined in AS5068: 2006 Finger Jointsin Structural Products.- Construction details should be in accordance withAS1684.2 Residential Timber-Framed Construction- A maximum roof pitch of 25 degrees is assumed- Refer to “Technical Drawings” where noted forexplanation of maximum loads / spans.
