American Craftsman Installation InstructionsFinishing, Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions:Do not stain or paint weatherstrip, vinyl,glass or hardware. Product damagemay occur. Read and follow finishing productinstructions and warnings on finishmaterial.Acid solutions used for cleaningmasonry or concrete will damage glass,fasteners, hardware, vinyl and metalflashing.Protect unit and follow cleaning productinstructions carefully. If acid contactsunit, wash all surfaces with waterimmediately.Abrasive cleaners will damage glassand vinyl surfaces. Clean glass using liquid glasscleaner. Clean exterior frame, sash, andinsect screens using mild detergentand water with a soft cloth or brush. For hard to clean areas use anonabrasive cleaner, alcohol-andwater or ammonia-and-water.Do not install airconditioner inwindow. Injuryand/or product orproperty damagemay occur. Do not apply any type of film toinsulating glass. Thermal stress andglass damage can result. Shadingdevices (insulated coverings,shutters, etc.) may also causethermal stress damage.
