God MadeMy World.God created everything in the world. Heeven created the worlditself. God made thetrees and flowers. Godmade the clouds in thesky. God made theoceans and the lakes.God made the stars that twinkle at night. There is notone thing anywhere that God didn’t create.Everything I see is made from things God created. People put cars together, but God made themetal that forms them. People build houses, but thewood comes from the trees God created. The Bible tells me that Jesus, God’s Son, is theCreator. All He had to do was speak, and whateverHe said became real. And everything He made wasgood.2

Genesis 1:1In the beginning God createdthe heaven and the earth.Exodus 20:11For in six days the Lord madeheaven and earth, the sea,and all that in them is .John 1:3All things were made by Him;and without Him was not any thingmade that was made.3

God MadeAll People.God is the three-in-one Trinity – Father, Son, andHoly Spirit. God created me in His image. That meansHe created me to be like Him.I am also three in one. I am made of body, soul, andspirit. My body is – the part other people see. My soulis – the way I feel and act and think. My spirit is the partof me that can love God and worship Him. That is whatmakes me differentfrom animals.God also made medifferent from anyoneelse. No one else isexactly like me. I amone of a kind! God hasgiven me my own giftsand abilities. I thankGod for making mespecial!4

Genesis 1:26-27And God said, “Let us make manin Our image, after Our likeness” So God created man in His ownimage, in the image of Godcreated He him; male and femalecreated He them.Genesis 2:7And the Lord God formed manof the dust of the ground, andbreathed into his nostrilsthe breath of life; and manbecame a living soul.Psalm 100:3Know ye that the Lord He is God:it is He that hath made us,and not we ourselves .5

God Made Meto Please Him.God could havemade robots instead ofpeople. Robots dowhatever they are toldto do. They alwaysobey because theycannot make choices. They cannot choose todo good or bad. Theyonly do what theircreator made them todo. But God didn’t wantrobots. He wanted people like me who could chooseto love Him or not love Him. He wanted me to makeup my own mind about Him.Some people choose to live their own way andignore God. The Bible says I please God when I trustin Him as my Savior. God wants me to obey Him andlove Him with all my heart. God is happy when Ichoose to live for Him each day.6

1 Samuel 12:22. it hath pleased the Lordto make you His people.Proverbs 16:4The Lord hath made all thingsfor Himself .Revelation 4:11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receiveglory and honor and power: forThou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they areand were created.7

God Made Mefor His Purpose.God has a purpose for me. He wants me to bringHim glory. That means I should try to please God every moment of every day. I should help others to seehow wonderful God is.Some people only live for themselves. They wantto hear others tell them how great they are. But Godis the only One who deserves my praise. He mademe what I am. Everything I have comes from Him. Ican’t take any credit forhow God made me.God has a plan formy life. He has given mespecial talents. I can usethem to bring Him glory.I want to please God,and obey Him, for making me who I am.8

Isaiah 43:7. for I have created him for Myglory, I have formed him; yea,I have made him.Ephesians 2:10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesusunto good works .Colossians 1:16. all things were created by Him,and for Him.9

God Prepares Mefor Heaven.Heaven is God’shome. God says thateveryone who trustsJesus as their Savioris welcome there.God is perfect. Hecan’t allow sin in Hishome.God knew beforeHe created the worldthat I would chooseto do bad things. Heknew I would sinagainst Him. But Hestill loved me. He wanted me to live with Him foreverin heaven. That’s why He sent His only Son, the LordJesus Christ, to die on the cross to pay the price formy sins.If I trust Jesus as my Savior from sin, He willforgive me of all my sins. Then someday I can liveforever with God in His home in heaven.10

John 3:36He that believeth on the Sonhath everlasting life: and he thatbelieveth not the Son shall not seelife; but the wrath of God abidethon him.2 Corinthians 5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ,he is a new creature: old things arepassed away; behold, all things arebecome new.1 John 1:7. the blood of Jesus Christ His Soncleanseth us from all sin.11

God PreparesHeaven for Me.If I trust Jesus as mySavior, He will give me awonderful gift: I will livewith Him someday inheaven. The Bible says therewon’t be anything bad inheaven. There will be nocrying, no fighting, nodeath, and no sin. Everything will be beautiful. The streets are pavedwith gold. The gates andwalls are made out of jewels. And the best news ofall? If Jesus is my Savior, I will live there with Him forever.I can trust Jesus as my Savior right now. “LordJesus, I need to be saved. Forgive me for sinningagainst You. Thank You for dying for me. I trust youas my Savior today and forever. Thank You for givingme the gift of eternal life. Amen.”12

John 14:2-3In My Father’s house are manymansions: if it were not so, I wouldhave told you. I go to prepare a placefor you. And if I go and prepare a placefor you, I will come again, and receiveyou unto Myself; that where I am,there ye may be also.Hebrews 11:16. wherefore God is not ashamed to becalled their God: for He hathprepared for them a city.Revelation 21:27And there shall in no wise enter intoit any thing that defileth, neitherwhatsoever worketh abomination,or maketh a lie: but they which arewritten in the Lamb’s book of life.13

God Made My Eyesto See His Creation.God created a wonderful world for me to live in.And He gave me eyes tosee its beauty.God made my eyes towork like a very small camera. The camera takes pictures all the time so that Ican see His world andknow how great He is. Myeyes see the brightness ofa blue sky, the colors in arainbow, the twinkling of the stars at night, and theimportant words in the Bible. I praise God for everything He has created.I should take care of my eyes. My eyesight is aprecious gift from God. I am thankful for the eyes Hehas given me.14

God Made My Ears toHear His Words. My ears can hear many things. They can hearsounds I enjoy, like pretty music. They hear warningsounds, like a train whistle or a fire alarm. They bringme nice words, like when my mom or dad tells methey love me.My ears also can help me learn. My ears weremade to hear God’s Word. When I listen closely toGod’s Word and follow its instructions, I will find theanswers to manyquestions andproblems. Godalways has an answerwhen I’m ready tolisten.I shouldn’t use myears to listen to badthings. God madethem for my good.16

God Made My Mouth toPraise His Name.God created mymouth to praise Him, topray to Him, and to speakwords that are kind andtrue. That’s how I shoulduse my mouth.Sometimes I use mymouth to say bad wordsand hurtful things insteadof good words and nicethings. I know thatdoesn’t please God.God wants me to usemy mouth to tell othersabout Him, too. If I’ve trusted Jesus as my Savior, Ican tell my friends that I am a Christian. I can tellthem how their sins can be forgiven and how theycan receive the greatest gift of all – living with Godforever in heaven.18

Exodus 4:11. Who hath made man’s mouth? Have not I the Lord?Psalm 71:23My lips shall greatly rejoice whenI sing unto Thee; and my soul, which Thou hast redeemed.Psalm 139:14I will praise Thee; for I am fearfullyand wonderfully made .19

God Made My Handsto Serve Him.Sometimes I complain when my mom ordad asks me to help withchores. But the Biblesays that’s the wrong attitude. I should do all mywork with a goodattitude.God tells me to always do the very bestjob I can, no matter whatI’m doing. When I’mhelping my mom set thetable or doing something nice for my neighbor orteacher, I’m serving God.The next time I have a job to do, I’m going toremember I’m serving Him. I’ll ask Him to help medo the job cheerfully. He’s the One who made myhands. I’ll use my hands for Him!20

God Made My Feet toFollow Him.Before Jesus died on the cross, He showed methe right way to live. He lived His life to please God.Jesus never made fun of anyone. He helped peoplewho were in trouble or needed special care.I want to follow Jesus’ example. The Bibleteaches me how to follow Him. I should keep readingmy Bible each day to learn what pleases God. Then Ican be like Jesus.I don’t want tofollow people whodo bad things. I’mgoing to followJesus. He’s the Onewho made my feet,so I can follow in Hisfootsteps.22

Psalm 119:59I thought on my ways, and turnedmy feet unto Thy testimonies.Ephesians 5:1Be ye therefore followers of Godas dear children.1 Peter 2:21. Christ also suffered for us,leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps.23

God Made My Heartto Love Him.God loves me morethan anyone else in theworld can love me. Hecreated me to be likeHim. He gave me myfamily. He meets myneeds each day. Hewatches over me all thetime. He sent His Son,Jesus, to take thepunishment for my sins.Because God loves me so much, I should loveHim with all my heart for all He has done for me. Thatmeans I should love Him with everything I have andfeel.I should love God more than I love anyone else –including my parents, friends, and relatives. God Made the Churchto Care for Me.God createdanother family to carefor me, love me, andhelp me grow. Thisfamily is called achurch. The Bible saysthe Church is not abuilding. It is a groupof people who havetrusted Jesus as theirSavior.Members of God’sfamily help each other find out what things they dobest. They encourage one another to use their giftsand talents for the Lord. They pray for each other andstudy God’s Word together. These leaders are found in my family, myschool, my community, and my country. The government is a group of people who makethe laws that protect me. If there were no laws, anyone could hurt, kill, or steal from someone elsewithout getting punished.
