Question Sheet1. How did you determine the scale you used for your island?2. Describe your strategy of setting up and solving your proportions on the previous page.Make sure you include the words scale, cross products, units, and actual distance in yourresponse.3. Describe how you determined where to place the various landmarks and terrains basedon the given guidelines.

4. On your map draw a path that will lead you to the treasure. This path should start fromthe landmark furthest away from the treasure. The path you take must stop at everylandmark on your map before reaching the treasure. On the lines below, write out how youwould tell a friend to travel from the first landmark to the treasure using directions andactual distances. For example: “If you start at the monument you must walk 4.6 milesnortheast to reach the apple tree.”

ACTIVITY Students will build a treasure hunt in Fortnite Creative. The players will search the island for treasure (coins). The game will end when the player collects a certain number of coins, or when the time runs out.
