Most of our ministerswork sacrificially and do not earn the money othersin the private sector earn over a lifetime. Often,after retirement, our retirees have small savings andfew resources to help in the case of a crisissituation. We desperately do not want this tohappen to our faithful servants and to be sure theyare taken care of honorably in their sunset years.The Shepherd’s Fund was founded to helpretired or disabled pastors and/or theirspouses (or widows/widowers) who havehealth issues for which they can’t affordtreatment or the financial impact of treatmentmay affect their ability to provide forthemselves. Retired/disabled pastors (orfamily member) may be referred to thedistrict office to receive an application.
