The drive for sample integrity and energy savingsThe performance and energy savings ofthe new TSX are driven by our uniqueV-drive technology. While conventional ultra-low temperature freezers use single speedcompressors that continually cycle onand off, the TSX V-drive runs at variablespeeds to adjust cooling performanceto the conditions inside and outside ofthe freezer.ONhigh speed When combined with the automatedtuning control, this variable speed driveoptimizes the compressors runningspeed to the current conditions. When conditions are stable, such asovernight or on weekends, the driveruns at a low speed, reducing energyconsumption while maintaining a stabletemperature for your samples. When there are frequent door openings,or samples are added to the freezer, thecontrol system detects the activity andincreases the drive speed to bringtemperatures back to the set pointquickly.
