Axeda Platform - System Configuration properties (Platformsettings)This table lists and describes the properties shown in the Axeda Administration application. These properties are defined and specified in the Platform by the Platform admistrator. (Theproperty, Custom Build Info, is also set in the Platform but is derived from another propertyfile.)To help you find a description of a property quickly, the table lists the properties in alphabeticalorder.Note: Some Platform properties are disabled (commented out) by default and therefore do notappear in the Administration application, System Configuration pages. If they aren’t shown inthis online help then they are set to not show by default in the Platform. If you have any questions or concerns about how your server is configured with regard to itsproperty settings, contact your Platform administrator.System Configuration PropertiesPropertyAccess message timeoutDescriptionThe number of seconds the Access application waits between messages from AccessViewer or Access Remote. If the Access application does not receive any messageswithin this time period (for example, if there are network problems), the session isdisconnected. The default is 40 seconds. In addition, this is the period of time within which the Access Viewer and AccessRemote operators must connect to the shared session. If both Access Viewer andRemote do not connect to the session within this timeout period, the session will timeout, and a new session must be requested.Access session ID lengthLength (in characters) of the Access Session ID. The default length is 6 characters.Access session timeoutThe number of minutes an inactive session stays open, waiting for activity, before it isremoved. An inactive session is one that has not been used (no Access Viewer orRemote computers shared using this session ID). The default is 10 minutes (betweencontacts).Access unattended sessiontimeoutThe number of minutes an inactive, unattended session stays open, waiting for activity, before it is removed. An inactive session is one that has not been used (no AccessViewer or Remote computers shared using this session ID). The default is 10 minutes(between contacts).ActiveMQ Broker nameThe name of the machine where the ActiveMQ Server (Broker) is running.Additional Auditor typesactively running in thesystemRegisters the types of auditors to use along with the JDBC Auditor when dispatchingaudit messages. When provisioning a Windows Server for a specific role there are additional items to consider for further securing the server. When planning and provisioning your server layout, designate one primary purpose per server. Whenever possible, designate one server as the database server, one server as the web server, and one server as the file server.
