The beauty of making a paperboat is that you only need one piece of A4 paper to complete thetask.So lets have a boat race and see who wins. This can happen inthe bath or get a bowl of water and have a race in the garden/backyard.WHAT YOU NEED Coloured or plain paper.

STEP 1Step 1: Start off with asheet of paper and fold itin half.STEP 3Step 3: Bring corners to thecentre so you get a triangleshape with a rectangle underit.STEP 2Step 2: Fold in half againSTEP 4Step 4: Fold the rectanglepart under the triangleupwards, flip your paper anddo the same on the otherside.

STEP 7STEP 6Step 5: Grab the centre ofthe triangle shape andpull both sides out, flatten.Step 6: You’ll get the shapeas shown on the imageaboveSTEP 7STEP 8Step 7: Fold the front layerup, flip the paper to be anddo the same with the backlayer. You’ll get a triangleshapeStep 8:Use your fingers,open the hat shape out evenmore until it forms a squareshape.
