2016 NewsletterAnother hunting season has almost come to an end.Our sincere thanks to all of you – new and old clients, for trusting us with your huntingsafaris once again. Enjoy the photos from this year’s safaris and be inspired to book your ownhunting or photographic safari for next year:Canada:Five hunters took some magnificent trophies at Whiteswan Lake Outfitters in BritishColumbia: Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Cougar, Wolf, and Shirris Moose.Hunters: Jade Sarah, Geoff Wise, Tim Reeve, Chris Dalbosco and Andrew Connors.

Ian and Chris made my first bear hunt very exciting and something I’ll never forget. They made me feel extremelyconfident travelling overseas, by myself, to meet up with their highly recommended Outfitter. The Outfitter theyorganised for me was the most welcoming and generous Canadian family. I was secretly hoping they would adoptme as their adult daughter. Ian went above and beyond when he had to reassure my panicking mother in Australiathat I would be OK when I hadn’t contacted her for a few days. Jade Sarah.Just a note to let you know that my twelve day grizzly hunt in British Columbia with Whiteswan lake outfitters hasjust been completed. Walking in single file about two ks up the road Daryl suddenly stopped and signalled to get tothe roads edge. A grizzly’s head appeared around the corner looking slightly wary. After what seemed like aneternity it stepped out and began grazing on high protein green pick on the roads edge. At thirty three yards it wasthe most amazing sight I have ever witnessed the bears silver tipped shoulders chocolate brown legs with longwhite claws and brown hump stood out in the soft afternoon sun. Looking back at Daryl he gave the nod to touchthe trigger on the 300wsm a few seconds pause and the money shot was on its way and the trophy of a lifetime wason the ground. Much back slapping and elation at getting me a grizzly really showed on the faces of these fantasticworking guides, their enthusiasm to get results was contagious. The walk back down the mountain was a reflectiveand euphoric occasion, was this the pinnacle of my hunting life , I am often asked when in my hunting room whichis your favourite trophy I think my thoughts will always drift back to the wild strawberries flowering high above theKootenay river with the Rockies capped in snow reaching to the sky with the trophy of a lifetime standing on thatgrassy road .Thanks go to Ian and Chris of world safari expeditions for their flawless organization which alwaysmakes the journey so smooth and a special thanks Daryl, Tim ,Cody and Joyce from Whiteswan Lake outfitterswho made my dream a reality - they are true hardworking hunters. Their warmth and desire to get results isinfectious and will stay with me always.
