THE HAM PD EN AR MS ACR EFAIRDO YOU FANCY A NEW HOBBY?The Fron Male Voice Choir are looking for newchoristers, no experience necessary. Whenchoristers talk to possible new recruits thecomment that they hear most often is - “The Fron!I’m not good enough to join them”. Not true. Yes thechoir’s CDs have entered the pop charts. Yes theyhave been nominated 3 times for the classicalalbum of the year. Yes they sing to largeaudiences in some superb venues, but that does notmean that they are looking for professional orestablished singers. The Fron is a community Choirmade up of all ages their youngest member is 16 andtheir oldest member is in his 80s. The choir is madeup of farmers, teachers, engineers, mechanics, policemen, chefs and some are even retired.A Warm welcome at the Hampden Armsfrom Debbie and JulianLunch Club - 2 or 3 course from 4.55Monday to Friday 12noon to 5pmEvery year choristers join the Fron who have neversung in a choir before. They learn, they practise, they make friends and when ready they join the choirto sing on stage in a concert. This process can takesix months or more it is only when an individual iscomfortable and feels ready to sing on stage that thatstep is taken. However beware terrible things mighthappen to you if you do start singing . it becomesaddictive, it takes up valuable time, it stops yousleeping and more! Come along and find out foryourself!
