Rosa RawlingsBTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Information and Creative TechnologyUnit 3: A Digital PortfolioAssignment 2: Create and test a digital portfolioAfter I created this asset table, I did include multimedia videos in my digital portfolio as analternative. My navigation covers all of the overall information and resources of pictures and assignments’ files, but not the resouces of videos as that was just an alternative. This navigation is the orginalnavigation before I have designed and created my digital portfolio as an plan. The navigation isshown on the menu page to navigate to other pages and back to menu from the menu button toshow the navigation again. The navigation is consistent for a user when entered onto the menupage, but not on other pages because of non-exsitance of the navigation. Rosa RawlingsBTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Information and Creative TechnologyUnit 3: A Digital PortfolioAssignment 2: Create and test a digital portfolioI think your portfolio looks very professional as it is.The suggested improvements that I have considered to makechanges to my digital portfolio is the grammar and the assignmentsgrades to just overall grades with annotations next to the unfilledgrades on not knowing the confirmed grades. Also to replace theYouTube video on the technology systems page as the video is nolonger available, which is caused either the YouTube user of thevideo has deleted it, been blocked or removed by YouTube.Grades Suggested Improvement:Before And After:Removing the assignments grades for the next improvement stage where I would insert a sentence under the unitoverall grade, deciding to justify the overall grade for each unit rather than each assignment.

Rosa RawlingsBTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Information and Creative TechnologyUnit 3: A Digital PortfolioAssignment 2: Create and test a digital portfolioThe assignment 2 grade and assignment 1 grade has been removed.Assignments grades has been removed and a sentence has been added underneath unit overallgrades. I added the sentence underneath as grading is still taking place. As I wouldn’t get confirmedresults in the summer time.

Rosa RawlingsBTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Information and Creative TechnologyUnit 3: A Digital PortfolioAssignment 2: Create and test a digital portfolioGrammar Suggested Improvement:Before And After:The first grammar changeUsing the proof readoption button in edit viewbox, correctly any spellingsand grammar. The second grammar changeI made grammar changes on my home page and grammar and also spelling changes on one mymenu pages, as each of these menu pages is similar to the above one. After I made the necessary suggested improvements, there weren’t any more suggestions from myfeedback, so I don’t have to ignore an unnecessary suggestion.I want to change the menu options of units from horizontal to vertical to improve the navigation. Before:I would need to go into appearancesettings to change the menu formatso that the pages are laid outvertically not horizontally.

Rosa RawlingsBTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Information and Creative TechnologyUnit 3: A Digital PortfolioAssignment 2: Create and test a digital portfolioAfter:I changed the menu format fromhorizontal to vertical, by using themenu structure in the menu tab ofappearance settings. Before:After:Replace the importmedia link with thereplacement in the editview box, as suggestedby user 1 feedback. These improvements benefit the audience and the purpose, as it improves the usability of thewebsite by improving the navigation of the website by changing the menu format. Removing theassignment grades for the overall grades instead, so that the audience doesn’t have to know the keyareas but the topics overall. Replacing the unviable video for a new one for the audience to havemore understanding of the topic and that they are more interactive with the topic. The spelling andgrammar are also improved to make the portfolio as professional as possible.

Rosa RawlingsBTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Information and Creative TechnologyUnit 3: A Digital PortfolioAssignment 2: Create and test a digital portfolioI have chosen each of the picture assets above because they are relatable to each topic on each pageand the particular type of content in my pages. Another asset I have added to my digital portfoliohasn’t been added to my asset table is the picture of my navigation chart, which is shown on themenu. You would see the navigation chart when you enter my digital portfolio. I have decided toinput the navigation chart in my digital portfolio because it gives users brief points on what contentis in my portfolio as well as navigating them around to what they are looking for on my portfolio.Using Photoshop to give a slight editing to all of my pictures that are shown in the asset table above, not the navigation chart. As to why I have chosen the types of settings in my editing of the images,to adjust the light and dark, blurred and sharped, where the image is bigger enough for the image tobe appeared as pixelated, where I had to change the size format on certain images. Trying differentcolours to what suits the images the best.I have chosen the type of content layout that the About Me page should be, stating about thecourse, my qualifications and my speciality in my course above an image with a bit of informationabout myself outside of college. The majority of the unit coursework pages have similar layout ofcontent. Having a bit of information about the unit, a bit of information about each of theassignments with an image underneath. The only difference is some of the coursework unit pagesdon’t include a video, where the video is placed underneath the unit heading above the content.Which leaves the remaining non-coursework, the units based on exams rather than coursework. Theunit pages above have similar content layout as well, with the introduction, video, what we did inthe sessions, evaluation and the grade I achieved.I sorted the units between coursework and examination in similar content layouts to keep myportfolio organised and easier for users to read.

For unit 12 introduces the software devlopment unit and the first two assignments. The content as well as the introuctions are the video about computer software, the assignments files and a picture . "testing" in one of the comment sections of the portfolio. The comment made in the comment section. The comment that has been made in the .
