Support NotePrecision Agriculture &ConstructionOctober 6, 2011CenterPoint RTX Correction Service: Unlocking and Settingup the FM-750 Display and FM-1000 Integrated DisplayOnce you have purchased a CenterPoint RTX subscription, you must unlock and set up the service onthe FM-750 display or the FM-1000 integrated display.Setting up CenterPoint RTX correction service on the FM-750 displayFirmware version 1.70 or higher is required.When setting up the FM-750 display for CenterPoint RTX correction service, the setup wizard guides youthrough the steps for configuring the system. The following table describes how to use the wizards toenter your system settings.To Accept the selection and go to the next screenAccept the selection and exit the screenGo back to the previous pageExit the wizardNote: When you exit the wizard, the system retains any settings you havealready selected; for any setting that you have not yet entered, the system usesthe settings from the previous configuration.Tap

To unlock CenterPoint RTX correction service in the FM-750 display, do the following:1. From the Run screen, tap. The Settings screen appears:2. In the Settings screen, tap. The System screen appears:3. In the System screen, tap Unlock/Upgrade. The Unlock/Upgrade screen appears:4. Tap Password Upgrade. The Password Upgrade wizard appears.5. Use the virtual keyboard to enter the password. The password is case sensitive. Ensure that youinclude dashes when necessary.6. After you have entered a valid passcode, the Password Upgrade screen reappears with a messagethat the upgrade was successful. If you have entered an incorrect password, an error messageappears and you are returned to the Unlock/Upgrade screen.After you have unlocked CenterPoint RTX, set the correction type to CenterPoint RTX:1. In the Settings screen, tap. The GPS screen appears:

2. Tap GPS Setup and then tap RTK. 3. Tap CenterPoint RTX (ss). The CenterPoint RTX Setup wizard appears. Read all cautions andwarnings carefully. Select the appropriate nQualityThere is no need to change any settings on this screen unless the CenterPointRTX broadcast frequency has changed.This screen provides options that enable you to operate when the quality ofGPS position information is comprised. Favor Accuracy – Provides the highest level of accuracy. This is therecommended setting. Balanced Quality – Trades potential accuracy for a slight increase inproduction time. Favor Availability – Extends production time further, with more potentialfor reduced accuracy.Set the value at which the system will enable you to start guidance operations. Enter a high number for broad acre applications. Enter a low number for row crop applications.Threshold forCenterPointRTX (s) FavorAccuracyFastRestartNote – The current maximum value is 11 inches.FastRestart reduces the time for the position to converge so that the system isready for operation faster.Choose On when the vehicle will be parked in an area with a clear view of thesky when not in use. Otherwise choose Off.4. After the wizard has been completed, return to the Run screen. Tap:Note the following: GPS Source is CenterPoint RTX (s). Convergence is a high value. The satellite icon is yellow, indicating the system is not ready to operate.The status values will change while the receiver converges to its final accuracy:

Note the following: Convergence has changed to the value you set in the Threshold for CenterPoint RTX (s)Favor Accuracy screen of the wizard. In this example, the threshold was set to 11 inches. The satellite icon is now green, indicating that the system is now ready to operate.Setting up CenterPoint RTX correction service on the FM-1000 integrated displayTo unlock CenterPoint RTX correction service in the FM-1000 display, do the following:1. In the Home screen, tap Unlocks. The Advanced Functionality Access screen appears:2. Select CenterPoint RTX (s) for standard convergence or CenterPoint RTX (f) for fast convergenceand then tap Unlock.3. Use the virtual keyboard to enter the password. The password is case sensitive. Make sure toinclude dashes when necessary.

4. Tap OK until you return to the Advanced Functionality Access screen. The CenterPoint RTXoption that you selected in Step 2 now appears as Unlocked:.5. After you have unlocked CenterPoint RTX, set the default correction source to CenterPoint RTX.6. In the Home screen, tap.The Configuration screen appears:7. Select the Autopilot GPS Receiver and then tap Setup. The Autopilot GPS Receiver Settings screenappears:
